Director of Academic Affairs The Director of Academic Affairs is the president of the academic Senate. The Director of Academic Affairs shall be appointed by the Council upon the recommendation of the President. This position reports to the Council. Main Duties:

  • Author curriculums
  • Interview, Appoint, promote, discipline or dismiss lecturers
  • Overview scheduling
  • Author, assess, approve, modify or reject assignments
  • Author, assess, approve, modify or reject examinations
  • Recommend and purchase textbooks for the library
  • Author Module outlines, chapter and chapter details
  • Assign recommended readings for every module
Academic Quality Assurance Officer Academic Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for assisting in the oversight of academic quality within the academy . Main Duties:
  • provide advice and assistance to the academic community on the academy ’s academic infrastructure
  • To provide advice and assistance to the academic community on the requirements of and process for program design and approval
  • To liaise with and advise relevant officers within the Schools to ensure that they are clear about their responsibilities
  • To assist in the collation, analysis and distribution of academic management information in particular and the generation and reporting of student progression and achievement data
  • To assist in the various processes surrounding program and module approval, modification and re-approval and to write reports
Academic Administrative Assistant The Academic Administrative Assistant The Academic Administrative Assistant performs administrative support duties common to academic teaching departments as determined by the department head and works with a limited number of administrative and financial processes Main Duties:
  • Provides administrative support to an academic teaching department by providing reception services, scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel, filing, researching files and records, and preparing and proofreading correspondence, reports, and other documents as requested
  • Assists faculty by answering questions and providing information, locating desired information and materials,
  • Assists students for module enrollments or withdrawals, handle complaints and offer advice
  • Author Module outlines, chapter and chapter details
  • Author, assess, approve, modify or reject assignments
  • Author, assess, approve, modify or reject examinations
Faculty Leader A Faculty Dean is appointed by the academic President. The duration of the appointment for a Dean is two renewable years. The faculty Dean is responsible for the following:
  • Academic planning
  • Formulate and monitor the academic planning, development and performance of the department
  • Discuss major academic developments with the Director Of Academic Affairs
  • Recommend lecturers
  • Faculty Quality
  • Instructional Programs
  • Student Affairs
  Student Affairs Officer Student Affairs Officers plan, direct and/or implement campus student affairs programs and perform related duties as required. Main Duties:
  • Admissions counseling
  • Announcing grades of exams and assignments
  • Follow up on assignment submission
  • Academic counseling
  • Financial counseling
  • Housing information advice
  • Student Life counseling
